LJ Dickens Joins HNTB’s Kansas City Office as Project Manager – Engineering
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LJ Dickens, PE, rejoined HNTB Corporation as project manager – engineering, based in the firm’s Kansas City regional office. Dickens is responsible for developing bridge inspection solutions and strategies for bridge projects throughout the region.
Dickens specializes in bridge inspections, design, load rating and construction observation. His experience includes leadership on routine, in-depth and fracture-critical inspections for highway and rail bridges nationwide, including many major river crossings.

Prior to rejoining HNTB, Dickens served as a group manager and project manager for another consulting firm, responsible for project management and delivery oversight for bridge inspections, and business development. In his original employment at HNTB, Dickens was a project engineer, working on both the design of new bridges and inspections of existing bridges.
Dickens earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Kansas State University.
