SAN DIEGO, CA — Industry leaders from WSP USA, an engineering and professional services consultancy, will present best practices in advancing business and asset performance at the Transportation Research Board’s 12th National Conference on Transportation Asset Management July 14-17, 2018 in San Diego, California.

Transportation asset management is a strategic approach aimed at optimizing lifecycle management of the infrastructure, fleet and facilities that transportation agencies own, operate and manage.

“WSP has played a leading role in the development and growth of advanced transportation asset management practices, working with clients to improve performance, reduce life cycle costs and minimize risk,” said John D. Porcari, president of advisory services at WSP USA. “As transportation agencies work to ensure that people and goods can get around safely, they need to be sure that the roadways, bridges, trains and buses will consistently be in good condition to support their goals. Asset management planning can help them achieve this.”

WSP’s technical experts will present an array of asset management topics aimed at advancing business and asset performance, and enabling clients to improve service delivery through the efficient and economic use of their assets.
