WASHINGTON – A new website from the Transportation Investment Advocacy Center™ (TIAC) provides easy access to a variety information sources on state and local transportation funding methods and trends, legislative and ballot initiatives, 50 case studies on successful and unsuccessful campaigns to increase investment, and webinar recordings of best practices and lessons learned.

Based on the premise that shared knowledge and networking are powerful keys to success, the Washington, D.C.-based American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) created TIAC to help private citizens, legislators, organizations and businesses successfully grow transportation investment at the state and local level through the legislative and ballot initiative processes.

The newly designed site includes a contemporary look and a refreshed commitment to delivering quality content and information, including via an interactive dashboard.  Earlier this year, TIAC unveiled its new logo.

Since its 2014 launch, the Center has become a clearinghouse that produces dozens of reports annually, conducts a widely-attended annual national workshop, host a regular webinar series, facilitates networking and information exchanges, and provides updated information on latest trends. As the “go-to” resource, TIAC has supported the development and execution of dozens of state and local campaigns across the U.S.

TIAC is a project of the ARTBA “Transportation Makes America Work!” (TMAW) program and is funded through voluntary contributions and sponsorships. To become a sponsor, contact Center Director Carolyn Kramer: [email protected] or 202.289.4434.

Established in 1902, and with more than 8,000 public and private sector members, Washington, D.C.-based ARTBA advocates for strong investment in transportation infrastructure to meet the public and business community demand for safe and efficient travel.
