Trinity River Authority of Texas Selects InfoWater and InfoWorks ICM SE

TRA is a conservation and reclamation district providing water and wastewater treatment, along with recreation and reservoir facilities, for municipalities within the nearly 18,000-square-mile Trinity River Basin. TRA owns and operates four water treatment facilities, five wastewater treatment facilities and one recreation project, and also manages water sales from four reservoirs. The National Association of Clean Water Agencies recognized four Trinity River Authority of Texas wastewater treatment systems with Peak Performance Awards. One of the largest, the Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS), provides wastewater transportation and treatment for twenty cities and approximately 1.2 million people in the Dallas/Fort Worth area including the DFW International Airport. The CRWS includes a 162 MGD wastewater treatment plant and approximately 300 miles of pipelines ranging from 12-inch to 108-inch diameter interceptor pipelines.
