Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer Beth Taylor

CHICAGO The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) has named Beth Taylor its new chief financial officer. Taylor has 30 years of experience in nonprofit administration and financial management. Prior to joining PCI, Taylor was the chief operations officer for the American Marketing Association (AMA) in Chicago, Ill.

 

“Beth’s extensive strategic and financial skills will be an enormous benefit in helping to lead PCI in meeting our goals,” said Bob Risser, PCI’s president and chief executive officer.  “Her business knowledge will ensure our place at the top of professional organizations. We welcome Beth to our team and look forward to her contributions.”

 

At AMA, Taylor was responsible for achieving AMA’s financial, human capital, and operational objectives. She managed organization restructure aligned with strategic plan; supervisory responsibilities for business systems, business reporting, and project management office; and implemented new financial reporting and budgeting tool. In Taylor’s first role as chief financial officer with AMA, she presented financial results and analyses for Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings, and coordinated budgeting, audit, and forecast process. She received her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Iowa, and her master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

 

“I’m excited to join the PCI team and look forward to using my background in Finance, HR and Operations to contribute to PCI as we embark on a new strategic plan,” said Taylor.
