New Renderings Showcase Plans for Gainesville Multifamily Community at Oaks Mall
FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch company, is proud to release new renderings for a multifamily housing complex located at the Oaks Mall in Gainesville, Florida, at the corner of W Newberry Road and NW 62nd Street. The project, which applies a similar design to its sister project in Daytona Beach, will consist of five buildings and 240 living units. The name of the community is Evergreen Westside.
“We’re very excited to break ground on this project. Gainesville is growing rapidly and has many new developments in the pipeline. We’re happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the wonderful community there,” said Sabrina Marano, Project Architect at FK Architecture. “We enjoyed working on the design; this development will make a great addition to the area.”
The apartment complex includes five separate apartment buildings, each four stories, and will have apartments ranging from studios to three bedrooms. It is being developed by the same Tampa-based developer as the similar 516-unit apartment complex in Daytona Beach, Evergreen-Residential LLC. Additionally, the Gainesville apartment community will feature a 3,400-square-foot clubhouse and a 2,300-square-foot fitness building nested on opposing sides of the shared pool. The other amenities include a covered mail kiosk, a package room, and an indoor dog wash facility. Other consultants on this project include CHW Professional Consultants (civil), Foster Conant & Associates (landscape), Joseph Lawrence & Co. (MEP Engineers), and SCA Consulting Engineers (structural).
“Since this is a multi-building complex, the development team decided to allow plenty of space for amenities and social areas,” said Marano. “We know it’s important for all our designs to provide spaces that encourage residents to socialize and utilize modern amenities. The area has a great deal of exciting new developments, and this project will be a wonderful place to live and experience all that Gainesville has to offer.”
