JCJ Architecture Principal and Director of Hospitality Design was named among industry changemakers for outstanding achievements in the workplace and community participation

 

SAN DIEGO — JCJ Architecture (JCJ), a forward-thinking and nationally ranked planning, architecture, and interior design firm, is pleased to announce that Robert Gdowski, AIA, Principal/Director of Hospitality Design at JCJ, has been named an honoree in San Diego Business Journal’s annual Leaders of Influence in Architecture & Design awards. Recipients are selected for their outstanding achievements in the workplace and participation in the local community.

Gdowski is an entrepreneurial-minded architect and planner with more than 28 years of experience. He excels within the cross-functional environments of luxury hospitality and mixed-use development industries, as well as closely collaborating with the firm’s Tribal partners to create and deliver a legacy of success for projects including gaming and entertainment, centers for education, administrative and public safety facilities, and cultural buildings. He spent the majority of his career in Las Vegas and Asia collaborating with a diverse range of international hotel operators including: Four Seasons, Marriott, Hilton, Atlantis, Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts, Wynn Resorts, and Bally’s Corporation. 

Gdowski is a member of Urban Land Institute and has been certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master in Planning from the University of Southern California.
