NIBS Releases 2023 Social Equity Survey Results
The National Institute of Building Sciences has released its second bi-annual Social Equity Survey. This survey, created in partnership with 26 organizations in the built environment, was initially developed to advance work on the issue of social equity in the industry.
By aggregating and analyzing nearly 7,000 U.S. survey responses, this report helps provide important insights into the diversity of the built environment and provide a baseline for future initiatives to improve social equity.
Government organizations can leverage this data to create regulations to improve social equity in the built environment, while private sector companies can use this data to better inform hiring practices.
