National Building Museum Announces 2023 Honor Awardee
– KOHLER WILL BE HONORED AT THE MUSEUM’S ANNUAL GALA ON MAY 24 –
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, the National Building Museum announced it will recognize Kohler Co. and its dynamic leader, the late Herbert V. Kohler, Jr. (1939-2022) as the recipient of the 2023 Honor Award at its annual Gala. The Honor Award recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to our built heritage and will take place at the Museum’s annual Gala on Wednesday, May 24.
Since its founding in 1873, Kohler has been making history with its bold designs and experiences, daring to imagine the impossible, and then ensuring that is achieved through its focus on a better planet, better communities, and better lives.
Kohler’s 150th anniversary theme of “Come All Creators” is a yearlong celebration honoring the rich history of the company and its forward-thinking philosophies of innovation and sustainability which align with the Museum’s Institutional Pillars: Equity, Environment, Innovation, and Wonder.
