Gainesville, Virginia–Today, Blackwell Grp, LLC commends their colleague, Hem Rana, in the attainment of his professional engineering license. For almost three years, Hem has been a valued colleague to Blackwell in his role as a Civil Engineer. His Professional Engineering accreditation will prove even more valuable to Blackwell clients.

Channing Blackwell, Owner of Blackwell Grp, LLC stated, “Blackwell is proud of Hem and his Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation – it’s a symbol of pride and measure of his own hard-won achievement.”

According to the National Society of Professional Engineers, “To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams, and earn a license from their state’s licensure board. Then, to retain their licenses, PEs must continually maintain and improve their skills throughout their careers.”

Mr. Rana holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Climate Change and Development Engineering from the Institute of Engineering at Tribhuvan University in Nepal, and has been practicing engineering professionally since 2012.
