Registration Open for DFI-COPRI New York City Ports and Engineering Seminar March 16 in Brooklyn, New York

Hawthorne, N.J.:  Registration is open for the DFI-COPRI New York City Ports and Engineering Seminar being held March 16 at New York University Tandon School of Engineering in Brooklyn. The full day of learning and networking features speakers and presentations about projects in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. Focus is on a variety of topics including ferry boat landings, resilient waterfront design, case studies, and histories of various waterfront projects in the area and abroad.

This is the fourth time that DFI and COPRI-Metropolitan Section in New York have joined forces to deliver a seminar on ports and marine engineering. The collaboration is intended to bridge a technical connection between the two organizations. DFI member companies are a great foundation resource for the design and construction of ports.

COPRI (The Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute) is a semi-autonomous institute of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers). COPRI serves as a multidisciplinary and international leader in improving knowledge, education, development, and the practice of civil engineering and other disciplines in the sustainable management of coastal, ocean, port, waterways, riverine and wetlands resources for the benefit of society.
