NEW YORK – Soil Connect today announced that it is rolling out a QuickStart program to partner with local construction material suppliers in the Columbus area – including quarries, concrete recycling facilities, landscape material suppliers, asphalt and concrete plants, and sand and gravel locations.  These digital storefronts provide local material suppliers with a means to sell their products directly to the platform’s growing user base of construction professionals.

Following a successful launch in Indianapolis which saw posts increase 2000%, Soil Connect is launching the program in the Columbus region before rolling it out to other markets across the U.S.  The Building Industry Association of Central Ohio Parade of Homes Evening of Excellence Featuring Soil Connect will include a launch event on September 21.

“We’re excited to feature Soil Connect as part of the Evening of Excellence, and to introduce the Soil Connect Marketplace to our members,” said BIA Executive Director of BIA of Central Ohio Jon Melchi.  “The platform helps members find materials closer to where they are needed, thus enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness.  With members facing unprecedented labor shortages and getting pinched by rising prices, more efficient sourcing of materials will help their production schedules and their bottom lines.”

“Columbus has a robust construction economy, so it is a great next stop for this imitative,” said Soil Connect Founder and CEO Cliff Fetner.  “By claiming their Soil Connect digital storefronts, suppliers benefit from increased exposure, while users benefit by finding materials closer to where they are needed.   This immediate, hassle-free access to our rapidly growing community of construction professionals gives suppliers a more efficient way to move product, while providing added supply liquidity to our platform to drive increased transaction volume – it’s truly a win-win for all stakeholders.”

In addition to its digital storefront program, Soil Connect continues to invest in and enhance its technology to advance its mission to be a full-stack, end-to-end solution for the construction industry. Most recently, the platform built a new tech stack to support its marketplace, allowing Soil Connect to introduce new services and features to its community, including the ability to triangulate and secure transport for materials within the app, as well as enhancing its Daily Dig job site monitoring service.
