“Advanced Utility Solutions” reflects focus on utility industry
BOISE, Idaho ‒ POWER Engineers, Incorporated (POWER) is strengthening its emphasis on meeting the demands for location-based intelligence and advanced technology solutions within the utility industry and has changed the name of its Geospatial and Asset Management division.
The division’s new name, Advanced Utility Solutions, better reflects the innovative technology, consulting and engineering services the division provides its customers.
“POWER began expanding its consulting and implementation services several years ago to better serve our customers looking to implement other systems to their enterprise beyond geospatial and asset management,” said Bart Koenig, division manager for POWER’s Advanced Utility Solutions team. “Utilities are seeking out new technology like automated design, advanced distribution management systems and distributed energy resource management systems to provide more value and excellent service to their customers.”
Along with the name change and expanded services, POWER plans to continue forming strategic partnerships with leading software companies who support key initiatives like asset performance improvement and grid modernization. This will ensure POWER continues to offer its customers the best technology solutions available.
