Located in the nextBUILD technology zone at booth W6342, Simpson Strong-Tie will for the first time bring a sole focus to technology innovations at IBS, showcasing the new Fence Planner Software™, the Deck Planner Software™ app for iPad, and the LotSpec and Pipeline scalable builder software solutions.
After hosting an all-virtual event for 2021, NAHB is back with an in-person, live industry educational conference and tradeshow for 2022. The nextBUILD zone has been designated as the show’s primary stage for cutting-edge developments in home technology, automation, and software innovations designed for builder and LBM dealer attendees focused on growing more efficient, profitable businesses.

- The new Fence Planner Software™ joins the popular Deck Planner and Pergola Planner Software™ apps as a robust, easy-to-use solution to simplify and streamline the fence planning process. Like all Outdoor Living Solutions apps from Simpson Strong-Tie, Fence Planner Software allows lumberyards and pro dealers to participate in a licensing program for co-branded or fully branded visibility within each app, increasing their own brand awareness and driving product sales.
- LotSpec option management software optimizes every phase of the building process to provide a scalable solution for managing design options in both 2D or 3D workflows. LotSpec automates the process of creating “lot-specific” construction documents used for permitting and construction and provides a powerful set of tools for producing master-plan sets commonly used for bidding and approval processes.
- Pipeline cloud estimating software is a web-based material management and estimation logic software solution that captures option changes to create site-specific purchasing, back-office, and construction documents, including full master-plan estimates, purchase orders from lot-specific, as-built reports, and management of option-on-option scenarios.
