CNY Group Promotes AnaTracey Hawkins to Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth

New York, NY — New York City-based construction and development services firm CNY Group today announces the elevation of AnaTracey Hawkins to Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth. Since joining CNY Group, Ms. Hawkins has championed the company’s success and increased CNY’s brand awareness across both new and existing markets. Her promotion equally recognizes this achievement and will continue to empower her to lead the company towards future advancement.

A New Zealand native, Ms. Hawkins joined CNY as a vice president in 2018, working closely with Mr. Colao to identify and implement new business strategies, lead innovative industry initiatives, strategically plan for market diversification, and guide the controlled growth of the construction management and program management firm. She has directly supported the rebrand and expansion of SPACES, CNY’s division focused on interior build outs and special projects that has grown substantially in the last two years. Ms. Hawkins serves as vice chair on CNY’s Senior Executive Team and as a member of the company’s Diversity and Inclusion Team. She has assisted firm principals in recruiting top executive talent, oversees the firm’s marketing and business development departments (including communications, PR, and social media).

Ms. Hawkins is also actively involved in mentorship programs within and outside of her work at CNY, helping young professionals hone their skills and advance in their fields. As part of CNY’s onboarding program, Ms. Hawkins delivers an educational program about sales and business development to all new hires and seasonal interns. She has also introduced a grassroots internal career development program to empower and advance the role of CNY’s female employees.

Outside of her work with CNY Group, Ms. Hawkins is the founder of the New York commercial real estate business think tank ‘BizDevel,” which is fueled by her passion to help New York’s underprivileged youth. The organization has made several impressive achievements such as raising $12,000-plus for the ‘Education Through Music’ program as well as other charitable fundraisers for Boys Town and the Long Island Alzheimer’s & Dementia Center. BizDevel has also generated more than $700 million in new commercial real estate and design and construction business for its members. Ms. Hawkins is also a long-time member of CoreNet Global’s New York City chapter.
