Archaeologist, Shawn Fackler, Joins Portland Office
Portland, OR – Cardno, an international infrastructure, environmental, and social development company, is pleased to announce that Shawn Fackler, RPA, has joined the firm as a Principal Archaeologist based in the Portland, Oregon, USA, office. Shawn has more than 15 years of experience managing cultural resources projects as a Secretary of the Interior-qualified professional archaeologist.
In his role at Cardno, Shawn will be managing cultural resources studies, enhancing client relationships, developing scopes of work, and consulting with public and private stakeholders on environmental projects across the West.
“Shawn is an experienced cultural resources manager who has identified and recorded hundreds of cultural resources sites across the West to keep projects moving forward,” said Cardno Business Unit Manager Karen Beattie. “He will assist our teams and clients in navigating challenges, considering alternatives, and planning for the best outcomes.”
Shawn is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA), a member of several professional archaeological societies, and is on the Board of Directors for the Northwest Association of Environmental Professionals.
