OBO Announces Design-Build Award for New Embassy Office Annex in Bangkok

The Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations Announces the Design-Build Award for a U.S. Embassy Office Annex in Bangkok, Thailand

 

The Department of State has awarded the Design-Build contract for a U.S. Embassy Office Annex in Bangkok, Thailand to B.L. Harbert International of Birmingham, Alabama.

This multi-story annex will be a secure, resilient, and modern office building for U.S. diplomacy in Thailand. SHoP Architects of New York, New York is the design architect for the project.

Since the start of the Department’s Capital Security Construction Program in 1999, OBO has completed 162 new diplomatic facilities and has an additional 51 projects in design or under construction.
