Vactor® Manufacturing Launches New Ramjet™ Truck-Mounted Water Jetter
Now with IntuiTouchÒ Controls, Vactor Ramjet Delivers New Level of Simplicity and Productivity
CHICAGO – Vactor® Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation and the industry-leading brand of sewer cleaning equipment, is launching a new version of the Vactor Ramjet, a truck-mounted water jetter, at the 2020 WWETT Show in Indianapolis on February 18.
As the successor to the existing Vactor Ramjet model, the new version redefines simplicity, featuring the exclusive IntuiTouch technology that delivers improved operating ease, quick accessibility to key information and greater control job after job. IntuiTouch in-cab controls provide PTO activation at the touch of a button. And, outside, operators can use the IntuiTouch ergonomic control station that features a simple, up/down adjusting control panel for all cleaning system functions. The new Vactor Ramjet also offers improved water plumbing, allowing for greater storage options.
The water jetter will continue to offer the proven standard and optional features that have made the Vactor Ramjet a popular choice with municipalities and contractors. Features including the Jet RodderÒ water pump that delivers smooth continuous flow at the nozzle for general cleaning and root cutting and Park-N-CleanÔ technology that allows operators to park near a manhole to begin cleaning in a matter of minutes come standard. The Ramjet also includes a superior cold weather package that separates wet and dry items and a rear hose reel with optional integral aluminum shroud for optimal performance in cooler environments.
