Manchester, NH Newforma, a leader in Project Information Management (PIM) software for architects, engineers, contractors and owners (AECO) worldwide, announces a new connector with Bluebeam Revu, the AEC industry’s leading project efficiency and collaboration solution. The connector increases productivity throughout the build process by connecting Newforma Project Center with Studio Sessions, the real-time collaboration capability within Revu.

The Project Center – Studio Sessions connector streamlines submittal reviews to meet deadlines faster and reduce opportunities for error by removing unnecessary administrative overhead from the review cycle. Whether a submittal requires single or multiple collaborative reviews, the seamless connection allows project teams to review, mark up, modify and update the same documents at the same time. The markup history from Revu is saved within Project Center as part of the project record, ensuring a complete record of the entire review process for each submittal.

“The Project Center and Studio Sessions connector will save our teams a lot of time and reduce risk with team members marking up one version of the document,” stated Project Delivery Specialist of Shive-Hattery, Mitchell Kelchen. “We are excited that we can combine the powerful markup and real-time collaboration capability of Revu with Project Center’s robust Contract Management workflow.”

“Our industry evolves when people work together to solve problems,” said Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships of Bluebeam, Todd Wynne. “Bluebeam is proud to work with Newforma to deliver our customers new ways to work together, save time, and boost efficiency.”

“The connector is another example of Newforma’s ongoing commitment to interoperate with best-in-class solutions and join forces with partners that truly understand the day- to-day challenges of project delivery,” said Chief Operating Officer of Newforma, Ray DeZenzo. “Our joint customers and their projects will see the benefits with faster turnaround times for critical construction contract management tasks.”
