HNTB Names Dave McDougall Indiana Office Leader
INDIANAPOLIS – Dave McDougall, PE, has been named Indiana office leader for HNTB Corporation. He oversees 118 infrastructure professionals and provides leadership in planning, directing and implementing client relations and successful delivery of major projects throughout Indiana. He is based in Indianapolis.
McDougall joined HNTB in 1988 and has served in a variety of roles, most recently as client service leader for the Indiana Department of Transportation, where he was responsible for leading HNTB’s services to the client, and achieving effective and efficient project delivery.
“Dave brings a wealth of experience and a comprehensive understanding of Indiana’s infrastructure needs and challenges,” said Matt Hintze, PE, HNTB Great Lakes Division president. “Under his leadership, our Indiana office is poised to continue its strong growth by providing infrastructure solutions to clients across the state and enhancing the region’s transportation network.”
McDougall is experienced in design, review and contract document preparation for new and existing road, rail and bridge projects, and he has delivered projects for multiple state, local and federal agencies. McDougall’s work includes leading the I-465 West Leg Reconstruction in Indianapolis and the Technical Procurement Adviser services for the
I-69 Section 5 project between Bloomington and Martinsville, Indiana.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
In Indiana, HNTB currently is working on, or has been involved with, some of the state’s most significant infrastructure projects, including the I-65 NW Added Travel Lanes Project in Lake County; the Big Four Bridge between Jeffersonville, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky; and I-69 Section 6 between Martinsville and Indianapolis.
