Lisa Sargent-Davis Joins HNTB in Chicago as Public Involvement Manager
CHICAGO – Lisa Sargent-Davis joined HNTB Corporation as public involvement manager, based in the firm’s Chicago office. Sargent-Davis works with HNTB’s clients to develop strategic plans for public involvement, diversity outreach, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise partnerships, and more.
Sargent-Davis has more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing workforce and education programs in the metropolitan area. Her extensive public outreach background includes building collaborative partnerships between community members, workforce and social service agencies and elected officials throughout Chicago.
“Lisa’s strong community relationships and understanding of effective workforce programs will aid our Chicago clients who seek a positive, transparent and collaborative impact on their customers and key constituents,” said Mark Becherer, PE, HNTB Chicago office leader and vice president.
Prior to joining HNTB, Sargent-Davis served as director of program operations for the City of Chicago Department of Family and Support Services. She helped plan and develop policy and implement strategic programs. Additionally, Sargent-Davis served as regional director for Scholarship and Guidance Association Youth and Family Services in Chicago, a local nonprofit dedicated to bettering the lives of children, families and communities.
Sargent-Davis earned a Master of Arts in psychology from National Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Purdue University Northwest.
In Chicago, HNTB currently is working on, or has been involved with, some of the region’s most significant infrastructure projects, including serving as lead designer and providing construction oversight services for the Chicago Transit Authority’s Wilson Station reconstruction project, program management for the Illinois Tollway’s $14 billion Move Illinois program, lead designer for Phases 1 and 2 of the Chicago Department of Transportation’s Lakefront Trail, and owner’s representative services for the Chicago Department of Aviation’s O’Hare and Midway Capital Improvement Programs.
