Siem Steur Staalconstructies B.V., Amsterdam, The Netherlands—This mosque for the Turkish community is made of 200 tons of steel and features 24 trusses. The dome cover features rolled and anodized aluminum tubes. For successful installation, it was critical that the detailed calculations, production, conservation and assembly were accurate. ProSteel was used to design the structure and model the trusses around a steel ring.
