Mott MacDonald expands executive board with appointment of Dean Radeloff and Aimee Barwick

Mott MacDonald has appointed Dean Radeloff, president and CEO for North America and Aimee Barwick, division general manager for the northeast United States, to its executive board, effective 1 July 2026.

The appointments broaden the representation of the North America region on the executive board, while also providing additional expertise in governance. Dean and Aimee’s appointments follow Paul Bentley, director in Mott MacDonald’s contracting business, JN Bentley, who became a member of the executive board earlier in the year.

Dean joined Mott MacDonald in 2022 and has been president and CEO for North America since last year. He has been instrumental in expanding Mott MacDonald’s business across the United States and Canada. His extensive experience spans engineering, design and construction across a range of markets including heavy civil infrastructure.

Through his dynamic leadership, proactive approach to building strong client relationships and significant contributions to business development, Dean has driven increased opportunities and project wins in North America. These include appointments supporting the modernisation programme for Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada and designing the first light rail system in Austin, Texas. Dean will continue in his role as president and CEO for the region.

Aimee joined Mott MacDonald in 2017 and has demonstrated exceptional leadership in delivering significant large-scale infrastructure and urban development projects in New Zealand and North America. As a division general manager, Aimee led the team across the northeast of the United States and has been a key contributor to growth, integration and client relationships in North America.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Aimee has managed large multidisciplinary teams, driving strategic concepts through to measurable social outcomes. Aimee brings extensive board and committee experience, including previously serving on Mott MacDonald’s Shareholders’ Committee and its senior leadership team in New Zealand. She has also held senior governance roles in New Zealand sport.

James Harris, chair and chief executive of Mott MacDonald, said: “By welcoming Dean and Aimee to our executive board, we position ourselves to better support our people, clients and the continued success of Mott MacDonald. As we continue strengthening our presence in North America, Dean’s broad expertise and commercial insight in this region will make a crucial addition to the board. Aimee’s strong strategic mindset, her collaborative approach and commitment to excellence will further enhance our leadership.”
