Concrete Specialties Acquisition Secures Oldcastle Infrastructure Foothold in the Midwest
For more than 60 years, Concrete Specialties has been the leading manufacturer of precast concrete  products in the Chicago Metropolitan area, Southern Wisconsin, and Northern Indiana. When thinking about the future of the company, a natural next step was to join forces with an established leader in the industry. As such Concrete Specialties identified, and is now part of, Oldcastle Infrastructure, a leading provider of engineered products across North America and a subsidiary of CRH, a leading provider of building materials globally.

Oldcastle Infrastructure has a long-standing history, dating back to 1978 when CRH acquired Amcor Precast in Colorado under the name Oldcastle. From that point forward, Oldcastle Infrastructure has grown substantially with a national footprint of more than eighty sites and over 4,000 employees to service key markets across North America. With the acquisition of Concrete Specialties, Oldcastle Infrastructure now has a solid foothold in the Midwest.

The new partnership builds on existing community relationships and affords customers the benefits of best-in-class customer service, expanded product lines and capabilities as well as the know-how and resources to tackle custom projects.

“Oldcastle Infrastructure is proud to partner with Concrete Specialties, and we are excited to expand our water management offering into Illinois and Wisconsin.” said Simon Bates, President, Oldcastle Infrastructure.
