Cardno brownfields Professional Presents on Brownfields Planning at Georgia Conference








Gail Rawls Jeter, as well as two of Cardno’s clients, Dayton Sherrouse from the Augusta Canal Authority and Steffanie Dorn from the City of Greenwood, SC, presented on how to identify, assess, cleanup, and redevelop brownfields using grants and low interest loans with environmental liability protection for existing contamination at this year’s joint Georgia Planning Association (GPA) and South Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association (SCAPA) Fall Conference.

The GPA/SCAPA Fall Conference was held Sept. 21-23 in Augusta, GA, and included multiple breakout sessions, mobile workshops with planners from throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Learn more by visiting the conference website.

Gail has 39 years of experience in the environmental field with more than 20 of those years specializing in the brownfields industry, assisting communities with identifying and obtaining funding, negotiating voluntary cleanup contracts or brownfield agreements with state regulatory agencies, assessment and cleanup of sites, public outreach, project management, and remediation planning.
