Every year, state departments of transportation from AASHTO’s four regions nominate projects that are making a significant difference for the people that live, work, and play in our communities. The America’s Transportation Awards competition, sponsored by AASHTO, AAA, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce selects the best of those nominated projects and programs in three categories for making our communities safer, stronger, and better.
