Be a part of this symposium to identify real solutions to large dilute groundwater plumes, emerging contaminants in groundwater, and other constituents that affect our drinking water supply.

All industrialized nations are confronted with remediation challenges of varying scopes and natures. That, coupled with the daunting undertaking of addressing known and as yet unknown hazards and contaminants, proves challenging for even the most responsible entities. Where can good science, regulation, and practical expectations intersect to serve the public good?

Intended to be comprehensive in approach, this symposium will create a forum where all who work in and serve the groundwater, as well as the drinking water, community can discuss and debate appropriate longer-term solutions for the evaluation and restoration of impacted and compromised groundwater. How will sharing good science and harnessing innovation lead us to develop best practices for short-term situational management when drinking water supplies are affected?
