Engineering Tomorrow & Bridges to Prosperity Inspiring the Next Generation of Infra Engineers

Parul Dubey on May 14, 2024 - in Announcement, Events

Engineering Tomorrow brings notable private sector engineers to participate in timely and engaging labs at schools across the U.S. The organization is scaling quickly and has just reached a major milestone – reaching 500K high school students this school year alone.

Engineering Tomorrow’s goal is to greatly expand the US engineering pipeline and create the larger and more diverse workforce necessary to meet the world’s current and future engineering challenges.

The organization’s upcoming lab on May 22, is focused on understanding about the importance of bridges in connecting communities across the globe and investigate the impact of different materials and designs. Nicola Turrini of Bridges to Prosperity, will be presenting to the students.

LAB DAY EVENT: Bridges
Students will learn about the importance of bridges in connecting communities across the globe and investigate the impact of different materials and designs. They will explore stress and strain fundamentals and then have the opportunity to design, build, and test different bridges to maximize the load.
