Structural Engineers Association of Illinois Presents Annual Awards

The 2014 Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, June 7, 2014.   Read the formal invitation and response card, or see below for more information.

The finalists presented their entries at the May Dinner Meeting.  The winners will be chosen by a group of distinguished judges.

This design competition takes place each year to recognize excellence in structural engineering. Winners are named in the following categories:

  • Jurors’ Favorite/Most Innovative Structure
  • Best Project – > $150 Million (International)
  • Best Project – > $150 Million (US)
  • Best Project – $50 Million to $150 Million
  • Best Project – $5 Million to $50 Million
  • Best Project – < $5 Million
  • Best Bridge/Transportation Project
  • Best Renovation/Retrofit Project
  • Awards of Merit

Three special awards are also presented:

  • The John Parmer Award
  • The SEAOI Service Award
  • The Outstanding Young Engineer Award
