Two Excellence in Architecture Awards earned for education projects in Newark, NJ and Stony Brook, NY 

New Brunswick, NJ / Philadelphia, PA, March 20, 2023 – DIGroup Architecture (DIG) has been presented with the prestigious American Institute of Architects-New Jersey Chapter (AIA-NJ) “Firm of the Year” Award, in recognition for distinguished architecture for at least 10 years and significant contributions and accomplishments within the profession and community. At the Annual Service Awards Gala, DIG also received Excellence in Architecture merit honors for its Clinton Hill Early Learning Center in Newark, N.J., (open category) and UNITI Cultural Center at SUNY Stony Brook in Stony Brook, N.Y. (interior architecture category).

DIG is the largest majority Black-owned architectural, interiors and graphic design firm in the state of New Jersey and has achieved Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certifications throughout the Tri-State area. The firm also has an office in Philadelphia.

By focusing on community regeneration, DIG has a history of making a difference by delivering projects with impact at the local level and serve as a catalyst to improve the quality of life for all in the surrounding community.
