FK Architecture Designs New Affordable Housing Development – Enclave at Lake Shadow
FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, is excited to announce its design work on Enclave at Lake Shadow in Eatonville, Orange County. FK Architecture collaborated with developers of McDowell Housing Partners, the affordable development section of McDowell Properties. The project consists of a 96-unit multifamily housing development, including four three-story buildings with 24 units each. Amenities include a large clubhouse, a resort-style pool, a business center, and a fully equipped fitness center. The project consists of modern design elements and is centrally located. The estimated completion date is December 2023.

All the housing units are reserved for households making at or below 70% of Orange County’s Area Median Income (AMI), ranging to 30% of the AMI. Compared to other properties in the area, Enclave at Lake Shadow’s rent is 30% lower than competitors, thanks in part to the development only being used for rent and income-restricted housing for no less than 50 years. This ensures long-term affordability and positively impacts the Orange County community.
