Every year, state departments of transportation from AASHTO’s four regions nominate the projects that make a significant difference in the lives of the people who live, work, and play in communities across the country. The America’s Transportation Awards competition, sponsored by AASHTO, AAA, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, selects the best of those nominated projects and programs in three categories for making our communities safer, stronger, and better.
