GO TO 2040 Wins National Smart Growth Award

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has announced that the GO TO 2040 comprehensive regional plan is the 2013 National Award for Smart Growth Achievement winner in the category of policies, programs, and plans. Congratulations to CMAP’s many local government, business, and civic partners who have contributed to the plan’s development and implementation. GO TO 2040 and other awardees are featured in a U.S. EPA video (see below) and booklet. CMAP executive director Randy Blankenhorn is accepting the honor on the agency’s behalf at an awards ceremony today.
