Lexicon Promotes Gary Whitmer to Vice President, Sales at Prospect Steel

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 21, 2022) – Arkansas-based Lexicon Inc. today announced the promotion of Gary Whitmer to vice president, sales for Prospect Steel. Working out of the company’s Kansas City office, Whitmer will continue to advance business development and sales opportunities across national industrial and commercial projects.

Whitmer joined Prospect Steel in 2012 as a sales executive. Before joining the company, Whitmer served in marketing and sales capacities at national steel, fabrication and engineering companies. He is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction. Whitmer received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Mo., and a Master of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, R.I. He graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, Mo., with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
