KAI Enterprises Hires Shawn Lewinski, CPA as Vice President of Finance

(St. Louis, MO) KAI Enterprises is excited to announce it has hired Shawn Lewinski, CPA, as its new Vice President of Finance.

In his new role, Lewinski is responsible for providing enterprise leadership in the areas of financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions and project controls.

“I’m really excited to be joining the KAI team and help fulfill the company’s mission to make a difference in the communities we serve,” said Lewinski. “The Finance team has laid out an aggressive roadmap to improve upon the processes and controls already in place in order to raise the level of service we provide to vendors, clients, and other KAI departments. We’re really fortunate to have such a talented, knowledgeable and hard-working group of people. They’ve accomplished so much in just two months! Lewinski has nearly 25 years of accounting expertise, having worked for large privately held firms, public companies, and Big Four audit and tax firms. A respected leader in the finance industry, Lewinski’s expertise includes financial reporting and statement preparation, KPI development, data mining and analysis, variance reporting and analysis, and project management.

Prior to KAI, he was the Head of Accounting and Credit Risk for EGA America, Inc. of St. Louis where he supervised a team of six accountants, provided support to the sales and logistics teams, plus assisted with contract negotiations and procurement of logistics services.

Lewinski has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
