Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to discuss impact of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act at Tensar’s Little Rock Road Show

Director of Arkansas DOT Lorie Tudor to address seminar participants discussing the impact of IIJA on ARDOT’s construction programs 

 

Little Rock, AR – Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Director of Arkansas DOT Lorie Tudor will participate in a discussion on the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and its impact on Arkansas at the Tensar International Corporation Road Show event on February 17 from 11 a.m. – 5 :00 p.m. The executive education event is located at the Holiday Inn in Little Rock located at 3201 Bankhead Drive. 

 The governor will be the opening speaker starting at 11:40 a.m. and will focus his remarks on how Arkansas is rebuilding, repairing and modernizing its infrastructure in order to grow the economy, create jobs and meet the needs of the 21st century. After the governor speaks, Director of Arkansas DOT Lorie Tudor will address attendees.  

 “Arkansas’ infrastructure is the backbone of everyday operations in this state, and it is worth investing in to create a better quality of living,” said Governor Hutchinson.  “I have created the Infrastructure Planning Advisory committee that will analyze the relief available to Arkansas under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs act of 2021.This committee is already identifying the priorities of Arkansas and make recommendations for the most efficient and effective applications of the relief.”
