NETZSCH Pumps North America, LLC will be hosting an event for the Eastern Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Operations Association (EPWPCOA) on March 18th, 2022. This event will begin with a tour of the NETZSCH facility, followed by two technical training sessions and a lunch. Both technical trainings will cover “Lowering Maintenance Time and Cost for Progressive Cavity Pumps,” and will be presented by Jeffrey Bye (NETZSCH) and Pete Ciorrocco (Iron Horse Environmental, LLC).

For over 75 years, the EPWPCOA has been meeting the needs of wastewater operators in eastern Pennsylvania. NETZSCH supports EPWPCOA’s mission to advance knowledge and encourage information exchange that betters eastern Pennsylvania’s communities.

NETZSCH manufactures progressing cavity pumps, rotary lobe pumps, and grinders for the Municipal market, as well as other products for other markets. The largest producer of progressing cavity pumps in the world, NETZSCH has shipped over a million pumps globally. The US headquarters of NETZSCH are located in Exton, PA, where all product lines are manufactured in a 100,000 square foot facility.

The tour of NETZSCH’s manufacturing facility will span receiving, assembly, testing, servicing, painting, inspection, and packaging. Highlights include the expansive area for inventory, which comprises the largest portion of the building with over 800 pumps in stock and over $4million in parts. The testing area is also distinguished by its ability to test up to 2,000 gpm to over 600 psi. Throughout this tour, guests will be able to see how the pumps and grinders are assembled at a high level; from raw material to finished products.

Parking for the event will be where the lunch will be hosted, that is, Ludwigs Corner Fire Company at 1325 Pottstown Pike, Glenmore. From there, guests will be bussed to the NETZSCH facility, which is 20 minutes away from the Fire Company building. Facemasks are required at all times in the building, regardless of COVID vaccination status. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
