TDIndustries Board of Directors Welcomes Alan Quintero
DALLAS – TDIndustries’ Board of Directors welcomes Alan Quintero as its newest member with an effective date of Jan. 1, 2022.
Quintero has decades of experience as a senior business, operations and business development executive, most recently as Senior Vice President, Business Development and Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Valaris, one of the world’s largest offshore drilling companies.
“A new year is an ideal opportunity to reinforce our vision and focus on the strategic goals we’ve built to benefit TD’s Customers and Partners,” said TD Board Chair Paul Minton. “We’re confident that Alan Quintero’s leadership, expertise and unique perspective will help move us forward as we take on new opportunities and challenges.”
Prior to Valaris, Quintero was a Partner at Trenegy, a Houston-based consulting firm, and excelled in executive roles at Transocean and Atwood Oceanics. He has also worked in the E&P, engineering, and service sides of the energy industry.
“Alan brings international experience as a retired oil and gas executive with a broad base of business exposure,” said CEO and Director Harold MacDowell. “He’s an engineer with deep roots in Houston, and he maintains the important Hispanic perspective and representation on our Board of Directors.”
Quintero has a passion for serving his community through education, volunteering his time with school districts and colleges as a board member throughout his career.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a graduate of Executive Education programs at the Columbia and Wharton schools of business and Harvard University.
