Skanska invests in a residential development project consisting of 61 apartments in Helsinki, Finland. The total investment amounts to EUR 22M, about SEK 220M.

The project is located in the new area of Kruunuvuori, which offers a prime location by the sea, and consists of three residential buildings in total. The apartment layouts are carefully designed to maximize the incoming natural light. The inner yard has a lush green recreational space that also acts as a storm water management system and solar panels will be installed on the roof to generate some of the electricity used by the property. The building will represent the highest energy efficiency class.

The construction has begun during the fourth quarter of 2021 and it is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.

In the coming years Skanska is planning to build homes for about 600 people in the Northwest part of Kruunuvuori.
