OMAHA, Neb. — Aviation development professional Jose Enriquez, P.E., joined HDR in October as the Texas aviation lead and a vice president. Based in Houston, he will use his extensive knowledge and experience to work directly with clients and provide leadership across the state.

Enriquez has more than two decades of experience in transportation, specializing in aviation, program management and alternative delivery. His work includes leading program management services for a $2 billion capital improvement plan at Houston Airport System and as program manager of a 7-mile stretch of light rail, an $866 million project. He has worked on projects at airports across the state, including Dallas/Fort Worth International, George Bush Intercontinental, Hobby Airport, the Houston Spaceport and more.

“I value personal accountability, stakeholder inclusion and attention to details,” Enriquez said. “I enjoy charting out a path for the client which allows my entire team to successfully complete a project while also being inclusive of internal and external stakeholders.”

He will serve as a senior project manager for aviation projects in Texas, responsible for program development and overseeing HDR’s aviation work in the state.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jose to our team,” said Aviation Director Bill Peduzzi. “His understanding of both the Texas market and aviation development will be an asset for our clients as we work together to realize their aviation infrastructure goals.”
