Spacewell appoints Germon Knoop as Chief Executive Officer

Antwerp– Spacewell, leading brand in the Operate & Manage segment of the Nemetschek Group, appoints Germon Knoop as Spacewell’s new CEO, effective today. He will report to Koen Matthijs, Chief Division Officer of Nemetschek’s Operate & Manage Division.

In recent years, Spacewell accelerated its growth through both proptech innovation and global expansion. The next phase for Spacewell is the transformation into a fully scalable SAAS provider, while working on an integrated product portfolio that includes MCS, Axxerion, O-Prognose, Cobundu and Dexma.

In addition, he has a sound track record of driving growth and innovation as well as proven transformational leadership, all of which position him very well for continuous success,” Koen Matthijs continued.

Prior to Spacewell, Germon Knoop held several international management roles for technology companies. These included divisional roles for Lucent Technologies and British Telecom, as well as Group C-level positions for Irdeto, European Directories, and BetVictor.

Eric van Bael, the former CEO, is leaving Spacewell.
