British Government to Help Aluva, India Become a Low-Carbon and Future-Proof Town

The Aluva municipality and British consulting services company WS Atkins signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for developing a master plan for the Aluva municipality in Kochi on Monday in the presence of Prince Charles.

Funded by the Prosperity Fund Programme of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the master plan will help Aluva municipality develop an integrated urban planning approach that will reduce energy intensity and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
