Autodesk Launches Vehicle Tracking 2014 Intelligent Design Solution

Autodesk has just released Vehicle Tracking software that provides design and simulation for transportation analysis. This technology allows designers to model the turning radius of different vehicles, and to model any potential clashes in roadway design scenarios.
This functionality comes from the acquisition of Savoy Computing last August. The tool provides a visual vehicle swept path analysis, and provides a companion to Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D and Autodesk AutoCAD Utility Design. – See more at: http://inthefold.autodesk.com/in_the_fold/2013/11/from-parking-lots-to-intersections-new-autodesk-vehicle-tracking-2014-software-aims-to-improve-our-transportation-environmen.html#sthash.1F36zcw8.dpuf
The design validation tool includes animations of the turning radius of steered vehicles, including cars, trucks, light rail vehicles, aircraft as well as parking design tools.
