EW Howell Construction Group Completes Two New Communities for Sunrise Senior Living in Huntington, NY and Summit, NJ
(Plainview, N.Y. ) – EW Howell Construction Group, one of the region’s leading education, retail, cultural, government and healthcare builders, has completed two new senior living facilities in Huntington Station, N.Y. and Summit, N.J. for the McLean, Va.-based Sunrise Senior Living, an owner and operator for over 35 years of more than 320 senior living facilities throughout the U.S., Canada, and United Kingdom.
Sunrise of Huntington, the 90-unit, 108-bed luxury senior community in Huntington Station opened at 300 West Hills Road and includes high-quality assisted living and memory care services that provide a supportive environment in a convenient location for families and friends who wish to be near aging loved ones. The two-story building houses a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a wellness center, activity room and beauty salon, as well as Wi-Fi throughout. Activities available for residents focus on exercise, art, music, education, intergenerational mentoring, community service and spirituality. The Huntington property is Sunrise’s 11th on Long Island.

EW Howell also served as construction manager for Sunrise’s new $21 million, 70,000-square-foot project in Summit, New Jersey, a steel and concrete structure which features 114 beds and lower-level parking.
