World of Concrete is the construction industry’s largest international event for concrete and masonry contractors. - 44-oz. CSS-CUCF44F is an easy-to-saturate carbon FRP fabric featuring new flat-weave fiber technology engineered to saturate as efficiently and quickly as lighter fabrics, significantly reducing installation time. Simpson Strong-Tie has the only 44-oz. carbon fabric available, which is the heaviest code-listed option and provides contractors with a solution that requires fewer fabric layers for reduced labor costs, consistent quality control, and more successful inspection rates.
- The fabric-reinforced cementitious matrix combines a high-performance sprayable mortar with a carbon-fiber grid to create a thin structural layer that won’t add significant weight or volume to the existing structure. We’ll show how FRCM was employed to restore the historic Napa County Courthouse after the 2014 earthquake.
- The CI family of crack injection epoxies have been tested to the latest ASTM standards and feature an improved viscosity range, accelerated cure times, and the ability to be installed at temperatures between 40°F and 110°F. Simpson Strong-Tie has also upgraded its entire suite of dispensing tools and injection systems to help make applications fast, easy, and clean for contractors on the move.
