Skanska has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Greenfood for a 44,000 square meter new food and logistics center in LÃ¥ngeberga, Helsingborg, Sweden. Greenfood is one of northern Europe’s leading actors in healthy food.

Construction start for the new facility is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2021, with an estimated start of operations during the second quarter of 2023. The facility will have a strong environmental focus in everything from material selection to efficient cooling systems and modern heat recovery. In addition, a solar cell system on the roof will cover parts of the electricity needs.

LÃ¥ngeberga is a strategic logistics location in Helsingborg, just adjacent to the E4 / E6 / E20 junction that connects Copenhagen with Oslo and Stockholm.
