Condon Scholarships

Two $5,000 scholarships from the Michael L. Condon Civil Engineering Scholarship Fund are being awarded in 2021. Established in 2015, the fund honors the late Michael “Mike” Condon, co-founder of Condon-Johnson & Associates, for his contributions to the deep foundations industry. The fund provides scholarship awards to deserving students enrolled full time in an undergraduate or graduate civil engineering program and who are interested in pursuing a career in the deep foundations industry. The scholarship is available to students attending the following colleges: Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Pomona, San Diego State University, Santa Clara University, University of California-Davis, Oregon State University, Washington State University, Montana Tech, University of Colorado-Boulder and Virginia Tech.

Goble Rausche Likins Scholarship

The first scholarship, for $5,000, from the newly established Goble Rausche Likins Scholarship Fund will be awarded this year.  Established in October 2020 with a generous donation from GRL Engineers (GRL) and Pile Dynamics (PDI), the fund honors George G. Goble, Frank Rausche and Garland E. Likins, the founders of GRL and PDI. The fund provides At-Large Scholarships to full-time undergraduate or graduate civil engineering, electrical engineering and computer science students attending any accredited college or university in the U.S., and who demonstrate prior employment, co-op or intern experience with a civil engineering application.
