TriAx Geogrid is a geosynthetic material used to stabilize soil. Today, many pavement designers are using geogrids to improve the performance of the aggregate within pavement structures. This allows them to offset increasing material costs, deal with increasing traffic loads, and create longer-lasting pavement sections.
How does TriAx Geogrid work? It has triangular openings, called apertures, which allow aggregate to strike through and provide confinement and interlock. This minimizes the movement of aggregate, resulting in increased stiffness of the granular layer.
