Xylem highlights the extraordinary partnerships making water utilities more resilient at WEFTEC Connect 2020

Extraordinary times call for an all-digital experience with virtual meetings, on-demand product demos, exclusive videos, and live streaming panel discussions throughout weeklong event

 

Charlotte, N.C.,  – Xylem (NYSE: XYL) is highlighting the Extraordinary Partnerships driving the water utility industry’s resilience amidst these Extraordinary Times at this year’s Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), Oct. 5-9. The company is offering dozens of digital presentations and interactive discussions on the event’s new Connect platform.

  • , Oct. 6, 2020 – 1 p.m. EDT – The Extraordinary Partnerships and Innovations Behind Water Utility Resilience featuring Patrick Decker, President & Chief Executive Officer and Al Cho, Vice President & General Manager.
  • , Oct. 7, 2020 – 1 p.m. EDT – Predicting and Preventing Pandemic Impacts: Wastewater Analytics that Mitigate Outbreaks, a discussion with Kerry Hubbard, Outdoor Water Monitoring Specialist, and Anthony Rohrer, Associate Product Manager, Water Quality.

Technical presentations, panel discussions and live Q&A sessions on topics, including PFAS and 1,4-Dioxane, proactive pump and asset monitoring, data-enabled collection and treatment optimization solutions, and clog free pumping technologies will take place during the show’s Power Hours from 12:30-2:30 p.m. EDT each day. Fifteen video demonstrations highlighting Xylem’s breadth of integrated solutions for utilities will be accessible at set times each day of the event. Later that evening (Oct. 7) at 5 p.m. EDT, Xylem will accept the Innovative Technology Award for the Flygt MAS 801 monitoring system in the Operational Design category at the Water Environment Federation’s virtual awards ceremony. The Flygt MAS 801 helps operators maximize pumping energy and diagnose issues using pump performance data and station conditions. MAS 801 is an important tool that connects the digital monitoring system and Xylem’s expert service capabilities with utilities.
