Inspected Appoints Industry Veteran Johnny Goetz to Lead its Government Relations
Austin, TX – Inspected, a virtual inspection software company, announces the appointment of Johnny Goetz as its director of government relations and chief building official. A veteran in the building and construction industry, Goetz is responsible for leading the company’s government affairs as well as working with building departments.
Goetz joins Inspected with over 15 years of experience as a building official and over 25 years in construction management. Goetz has a strong history of project management successes and timely execution of large-scale initiatives involving many stakeholders. He also has an extensive background in building safety and deep knowledge of building, state, and local codes.

Prior to joining Inspected, Goetz was the Assistant Director of Construction, Codes, and Standards at Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. Before that, he held building official positions with city departments in California, the most recent was as the Chief Building Official for the Town of Truckee for five years.

Goetz is an International Code Council (ICC) certified building official with multiple ICC certifications in both residential and commercial sectors. He also held leadership positions within ICC and other construction associations. He frequently teaches the code requirements to members of the building safety and construction trades industries.
